‘The study of Chinese martial arts continues to open doors for me, offering new challenges and opportunities for personal and physical growth’.
Jane has been studying Chinese marital arts intensely in Victoria and beyond since 2012, in the styles of Ziranmen, LiuHe and Sanda, Baguazhang, Xing Yi, Tai Ji (Wudang 28 and Beijing 24) and Qi Gong, under the teachers linked below.
She holds Qi Gong teacher certification from Master Liu Deming and Level 4 Ziranmen grading from the 5 Elements Martial Arts Academy, where she was assistant teacher.
Martial arts training offers her a generative, restorative and rehabilitative daily practice, not only for the body, but also the mind and spirit.

Tai Ji and Qi Gong - Workshop
Date TBC
Dodges Ferry Primary School Gym
This class will delve into the meditative and invigorating practice of Qi Gong which is based on Traditional Chinese Medical (TCM).
The two main focus points of the practice are to achieve correct postural alignment, and natural breathing. We will then learn a number of Qi gong movements, which when used in conjunction with correct posture and breath, may cultivate internal health. Each movement:
- activates and massages the meridians,
- achieves co-ordination of the body and mind, using the breath,
- improves circulation, flexibility and stability of joints, and
- calms the nervous system by focussing the body and mind on slow, gentle movements.
We will begin to learn the Beijing 24 Tai Ji Form.
All ages (8+) are welcome. Please reach out to discuss and book via the contact form above.
